Terry always had problems with her teeth and gums. She remembers kids making fun of her in high school. Shortly after the birth of her second child, her husband promised her they would "do something about her teeth." But the couple was busy raising children and managing their real estate business. Years passed. Finally, when one of her molars cracked down to the gum, Terry decided it was time to take care of herself.

She went about finding a dentist in a systematic way, researching and interviewing four dentists over a two-year period. She chose Dr. Crane based on his expertise and the stories about his patients she read in magazine ads. "I waited a long time for this," says Terry. "I had been in a lot of pain for years, and I wanted to be sure the dentist I selected would deal with my underlying dental problems and give me the smile I've always wanted."

Terry was so inspired by the transformation that was taking place she was prompted to make other life changes. She started an intense personal fitness program, and now she's healthier and almost 40 pounds lighter.

The night before her last appointment with Dr. Crane, Terry was so excited she had difficulty sleeping. When she saw her new smile for the first time, she cried. "Dr. Crane had tears in his eyes, too; he knew what this meant to me," remembers Terry. "He is such a perfectionist. He cares so much about the work he does. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Crane. My life has changed, I've regained my youth and confidence."
